Tonight I saw the first episode of Dollhouse, a new alternate reality scifi-ish series by Joss Whedon. Too early to judge, but the exemplary easiness on the eyes delivered by Eliza Dushku will probably make it worth my while waiting for actual plot to hit the fan.

Yup, this is looking to be another great season. Wow.

Sweet, since some recent firmware update HTTP streaming of media files works, so no more messing about with UPnP Mediaserver streaming, HTTP download or USB flash-sticks to view media files from the closet server. I wonder if Sony will come around and de-cripple the PSP firmware sometime soon as well...

Hmm, or perhaps it already works via remote play.

Why didn't anyone tell me the TV-series "Heroes" was this good?

The dual episode premiere of Battlestar Galactica season 3 was out today, and now I've seen it. Still getting better and better aka darker, which is pretty bad for the poor souls being the characters.

Only bad thing is that it's a whole fracking week until the next episode.

My copy of the BSG season 2 DVD box arrived from Amazon today!

There is a EARTHWORM JIM on DVD Petition to sign, and maybe they'll listen and make a DVD release.

The fourth season DVD box is finally in my media rack. 26 VHS tapes down. Perhaps the 58 Babylon 5 tapes should go next?

The Blake's 7 season four DVD box is finally on its way through the mail.

Woke up feeling quite OK, just a little bit hang-over fussy in the head as a result of yesterevening's afterwork (for them, I was on vacation or sick leave yesterday) beering with my collegues. Watched the Hudson Leick episode of C.S.I. while eating breakfast.

At 14:05, Jens reminds me that I'm late to the playtest of a GothCon roleplaying scenario we had scheduled for today at 14:00, that I had completely forgotten to write into my Palm calendar and thus not having in mind while lazying about at home this morning. Well, it turns out that I'm not the only late person and that I can probably get a ride with the other late party.

Only 1h30m late we begin the playtest. Fun. Partly confusing scenario. Fun. Partly not overly focused playtesters. Fun. Brownies for lunch. Fun.

Finishing off the day by going back downtown to have some MEAT. Unfortunately, TLH had no free tables (to my surprise, as they were almost empty yesterday and I thought that meant this was a non-busy weekend) so we had to resort to second choices. MEAT was eaten. Then beer was drunken. And there was rejoicing.

Not too bad for a saturday, and I still have the BSG episode of the (yester)day to watch. but unfortunately my firewall had fscked up so the torrent hadn't completed while I was gone, and now it's the slowest on earth. Sigh, can't have everything I guess.

(I really need to implement some kind of keyword based automagic reference expander so I don't have to lookup the same IMDb id:s and whatnot for things every time I want to crossref the same thing.)
