70 g gult senapsfrö
35 g brunt senapsfrö
punsch

impressed
Three of the twelve sample pods that came with my recently acquired Nespresso Essenza D90 were decaf varieties. Tonight I tried the strongest rated one just to see how bad it was.
First impression: wow, it tastes like and espresso...
Second: except for not having much of a body to its taste...
Third: and a bit lacking in the aftertaste.
Still impressive in not being offensively bad, just a bit thin. I almost could consider buying a pack of those for the times when I'd like a cup but don't want to destroy imminent sleeping attempts with caffeine. I never thought that would happen.

caffeinated
Nespresso are offering a SEK 400 cash-back on machines so I've been trying to find one for a while. Today I did, and it makes really decent espresso; better than what passes for espresso at many coffeehouses.

Yesterday, I was at a friends place cooking chili for 15 people.
Fry solids and put together with liquids to simmer in a pot.
Then wait and wait and wait...

Yesterday was a tropical day, maybe not completely unlike once upon a time in Mexico, namely the 52nd of Discord in the Ear of our Lady Discordia 3028, during the Sinking of Mayo Shipments Blockade by the French. In memory of of the shipsmen and tonnes of mayo that went down into the sea during that day, during which Eris could have NO MAYO with her hotdog buns, in the memory of this we yesterday sank mayo.
The mayo was sunk with lots of texmex food, margaritas and Mexican (at least in intent, if not completely in reality) beer:
The festivities were started with margaritas. Guacamole was had as a side dish during all of the following that followed, except for the desert. As a starter to the eating activities we enjoyed a tray full of quesadillas. Then we probably had more margaritas to refresh our taste buds for the main course of beef fajitas. After a fajita too many we were utterly stuffed so some loitering around in the general area ensued for some time to let the food (with a hefty dose of home-beaten mayo, no less) sink before desert. The desert was a chopped strawberries and basil panna cotta.
We totally sank it.

Wild Boar Sausage
I got the opportunity to buy some wild boar sausage from a friend who's got a relative who makes and sells them. So tonight's dinner menu had wild boar sausage sandwiches on it. Probably the best sausage I've eaten in a long time.
