Rehab revisited
Had a doctor's appointment at 07:45 this morning. Only had to wait for 45 minutes before they had time for me due to emergency cases that got in the way. So now I've tried the other side of the excellent priority I got when I first arrived at the ER with severely wounded fingers.
They cut open the bandages so I could clean my hand for the first time in a month. Huge relief! Also, the new bandages can be removed so I can wash my hand on a daily basis and probably take a shower without a plastic bag to cover the bandages. The plaster splint is still there though, to keep the wrist and fingers at a fixed angle that keeps the tendons relaxed.
A doctor has a look at the healing and rehab progress to decide what exercises to do for the text two weeks. Now I have three different rehab exercise programs to do 1, 4 and 6 times each day. I'll need to find a daily schedule reminder tool for my LifeDrive to remember when to do what.
Next visit in two days to follow up on the new exercises and two more weeks with splint and bandages and after that yet another two weeks before the final doctor's appointment to assess my future as a fully dualhanded person.

Fingers are free of bandages and dead skin layers. My toy digital camera apparently is not very good at closeup shots because the focus is shot to hell as usual in my attempts to capture the healing process in images.
The new rehab exercises include bending my fingers by own muscle power. This is really tough work because it requires hard concentration to even remember how to make the fingers move. This must be what it feels like for a psionic to practice hir telekinetic ability, concentrating really hard to make some inanimate object move by the power of your mind.
